the concept is kind of interesting to me--maybe the psychological boost of feeling prepared would help people not get so freaked out when school begins--but I can't help but think of the saying "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing."  my impression of law schools is that they kind of like you coming in as a blank slate--why they don't value 'prelaw' majors at all--so it probably wouldn't help all that much.

me, unless i start at umich TEN DAYS after commencement, i'm taking a break from academics for the summer--reading lots of good books that I choose to read, getting lots of sleep and exercise, earning some money, and resting up for law school.

Waste of money.  Show up your first day, that's about all of the prep. you'll need.
