I sent in an additional LOR, as well as updated transcript, shortly after receiving the deferral notice. I also mailed them a letter informing them of my LOR and transcripts, while trying to beg them to overlook my LSAT. Apparently it didn't work, lol.

Doesn't really matter, I applied to Penn more on a whim than anything, I probably wouldn't have went anyways.

I don't understand on your list of application statuses, what does "Dantes" mean?

Actually, I don't understand a lot of people's metaphors for acceptance/rejection/deferral.  Maybe I'm just dumb.

Paradiso, Purgatorio, Inferno = Divine Comedy written by Dante Aligheri (sp?)

Couldn't think of a metaphor for schools that I hadn't heard anything from yet, so I just put Dantes....

It's been a while since I've read them, but I think Dantes works.  Isn't it the case that he's the central character, traveling from here to there, led by... Virgil?

So, yeah, those are schools waiting for a place to go.
