I, too, don't think that Soaper is a flame... check out his LSN and other posts on other ND threads.  Probably he is just one of the first.  (Maybe they pulled a few right before/after ranking the waitlist.)

And so the waiting continues...  :-\
Accepted: IU-Bloomington ($), Case ($$), American
Waitlisted: ND, Wash&Lee
Rejected: Northwestern, GWU, UNC

Well, here we are in the last week of June and to date we have heard of only 1 person coming off of the waitlist... I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I spoke to Dean O'Hara and she said that they do not plan to take anyone else off the waitlist.

I spoke to her a few days ago. I am doing CLEO and several schools have come here to recruit students. I emailed the Dean to ask if they would be coming and her words were that they are "oversubscribed" and won't be going to the waitlist.

Maybe I'm a little dense, but what does your recruitment have to do with whether they are "oversubscribed" and whether they go to the waitlist or not?

She told me they received too many acceptances and are oversubscribed. I mentioned recruitment because law schools come to CLEO to recruit students and that is what I was asking her about when she told me the class is full. Its by all means not a concrete answer, there is still over a month before school begins so its still possible that some of those admitted students might withdraw, but the way she made it seem it is not very likely.
