The Times picks up on what we already knew:

Last year, for the first time since the 1997-98 admission cycle, the number of applicants to law school declined, by 4.6 percent, and so far this year, the number has declined by 9.5 percent.

Thanks, nice article.  I just wish they predicted whether the decline would persist in the coming years.

I wish they did not release this article at all. Now there may be a flood of last-minute apps who think they have a good shot with the lowered numbers of applicants. BASTARDS.

Unless you are a "lowered numbers" applicant... why worry?

Moreoever many applicants would have to take the LSAT and this article was published after the February LSAT whereby the June LSAT is unadmissible for Fall 06 enrollment.
