LOL!  I love the Boston accent - it's the US version of Cockney.  I would love it if a guy read me TS Eliot in the Bostonian brogue.  Accents are great - I love the Southern accent too.  I've been in the US for about 7 years now and I still can not affect an American accent - I sound like a retarded hick when I try.  I love how you guys say "water" - waaaader!  LOL - I must be going barmy, I'm cracking myself up.  Thanks for the much needed entertainment Lexy.

LOL yeah people have commented before on the way I say khakis. I didn't realize that it was a boston accent--I usually don't have one except for random words like "drawer."  We say it like "draw."  :)

And I get laughed at for saying "aunt" instead of "ant" and "bureau" instead of "dresser".
