ladylazarus, how did you hear from USC?

Big, white envelope in the mail.  First I've heard from them, never got a complete notice or anything like that.

anyone going to the UCLA welcome reception this Sunday?

good luck to those still waiting!!
Congrats on getting in. Please remember that this is the vigil.  We are all depressed enough without being riminded about the ever rapidly approaching welcome reception.

people have also posted here about getting in- people i was in the vigil with for quite some time.

Don't mind me,  I'm just pissed off because I haven't heard anything. I come to this board to see how other are coping.  I like when people post that their acceptances. I just think that once your accepted, it time to leave the vigil and get down to specifics in other boards with other admitted students. News of admittance gives me hope,  talk of upcoming events that I cant attend rubs salt in my wounds.

is there anyone else still waiting on Stanford and USC? i feel like i'm the only one left on earth (though LSN would indicate otherwise).

not waiting for either of those, but the UCLA vigil is still alive. looks like UCLA decisions will be arriving this week though, according to some on LSN.

good luck on USC and Stanford, have you called them or contacted them? that might help at this point?
