Hey all- another update.

Walking past the table this morning, I saw ANOTHER batch of acceptances, so those should go out today or tomorrow.

Thanks AH. Hopefully this week is the week for some of us. I was sure I'd get one last week, but was sorely disappointed.

Thanks AH! I was so disappointed when I got back up here this morning and there was nothing in the box  :-\ Literally, there was one thing in the mailbox from American, and the rest was stuffed full with fliers... I'm worried that since the box was full, my mailmain threw the rest out!

Anyway, lets hope this is the week for all of us  :) And AH, your tip-offs are priceless!!

While I agree with the fact that W&M is out for diversity TheHardestPart, the school is required to accept a certain percentage of in-state students or else they do not receive funding from the state.  UVA solved this nagging little problem by giving the state the finger and saying "Fine!  Our law school is now private!"  Even at UVA residents still have an edge in the application process (the acceptance rate is higher and spelled out plainly on their website).  So if it helps at the in-state "private" law school, I can't imagine how at the in-state public law school it would hurt you.  Plus, I'm sure we've all got some sort of other interesting factors that may come into play.  I went out of state for school (granted, to UF not W&M or UVA), will be getting my master's, graduate summa cum laude, blah blah blah.  I'm sure many of you have much more impressive resumes.  I'm keeping my hopes alive!  :)

Well, not that it matters intensely (and I am not sure how much it affects things), but W&M (with UVA and Tech) are all under the charter initiative now, which reduces state funding and increases school control over spending, just fwiw.

I know I am not getting any mail tomorrow or wed. and that makes me :(

How do you know? Is your mailbox closed for renovation?

Thanks for the optimism queen, but if I can't even get a WL at Mason or a RESPONSE from Richmond, there is no hope at W&M.  I'll put the letter through for good measure, but my hope is lost.

If it makes you feel any better, AH, I have yet to hear from them, too, and am right at their medians.  I smell a WL coming my way.
