Yup, that's right everyone, they're coming; got the rejection letter today (dated 02/02).  I'm actually far less disappointed than I thought I would be; it's just one more complication removed from the decision-making process.  Stings a little bit to be the first one though.

Nothing unusual in the letter, just your typical "we get so many great applicants and only have so many spots in the incoming class" stuff.  I live in CT, so I'm guessing that I might be the first in a wave of letters arriving early next week (or else they just REALLY didn't like me, which is cool too).  I've got enough great choices that I don't feel like I have to be too greedy and obsess over it.  Better now than in April or beyond, right?

I'm not 100% decided, but Harvard is leading the pack at present (barring any substantial scholarship offers from the others, which I'm not anticipating).  I plan on visiting several others, including Columbia/NYU, before I commit to the big H.
