Quick question to mel and B.K., how did you request an expedited response? Was it by tel, email, or fax? Isent them an email on Monday and have received nothing in reply. Did you guys get a response prior to the decision email?

Isent them an email on Monday and have received nothing in reply. Did you guys get a response prior to the decision email?I contacted them via email. Prior to that, they hadn't sent me any response. It took them about 10 days for them to get back to me though, so I bet they'll get back to you, in time.
I was just thinking about this and I'd suggest being a little careful before requesting an expedited response. It seems reasonable to think that this request would probably kill your chances of being put on the waitlist -- I know at Yale waitlist pretty much = ding, but for anyone who's actually interested in being on the waitlist, I'd take a second thought.
Dinged today via email as expected. I really thought it would bug me more. I guess having my heart set on New York was a significant factor in that.Good luck to those still "Obsessing"
