So I've got a summer job -- working in the Tax Department of a hyuuge company -- but I want to know if I can do better. I worked there last summer as an intern, over winter break, and they'd like to have me work again over the summer, but it only pays $10 an hour. They're budgeted and I'm technically emplyed by a temp agency, so I don't know if I can ask for more money or if I did if they could give it to me. Aside from that, I'd like to work in a more interesting field. I work with all lawyers and do legal research on RIA Checkpoint, but it's tax law and I'd rather watch paint dry.

What are your experiences, if any, working in a law related job pre-1L? Are there jobs out there that might pay more / be more related to law? Is it worth a shot? I've got the fallback plan of interning again, but if I can make more money and enjoy my job a little more I'd be all over it. Thanks
