I was in Israel all summer and everyone was doing sudoko and I had never even heard of it -- I thought it was an Israeli thing. When I came back to NY, everyone was doing it here! Amazing how fast it has spread. I'll have to stick with crosswords, though, because numbers make me nervous  :-\

I initially got into it because I love math, but it has nothing to do with math.  It just as easily could have been with the first ten letters of the alphabet or random symbols.

I get mine online.  There's this great site online that lets you determine the difficulty of it.  http://www.websudoku.com/  Try doing the 'evil.'  It's great.

Do you need a subscription?

Not at all.  Play away. ;)

Thanks!  :D
