:D :D :D

sounds like my dog!

I know getting apps early helped for me since I def. wasn't an autoadmit anywhere (how could it hurt to give schools an extra two months to chew over an app?), but it is really frustrating knowing even though I was in by Nov. I still won't have a decision till April!

and man, I wish I'd realized how beneficial it would be to send them in early... I pushed hard and got stuff in within about a month of deciding I was definitely applying, but I wish I had decided that just a few months earlier! or done some early action-type things at my super reaches, then maybe I'd be deffered rather than just complete ;)

do u have just the 2 dogs? we are thinking of getting another one--but LS is potentially going to get in the way of that, for now anyway.

you have no idea... ;) actually, it is tylenol pm.

roxy- I am dogsitting for my mom (she just moved) until she gets set up with a new place.  Our family actually has 4 dogs!  Two big, two little.  I feel like, well, what is one more after you already have a pair of troublemakers? ;)

And don't worry about not applying early, better to have a quality app (in my case the quality of the app wouldn't have been improved by holding off).  And you already have some acceptances I would KILL for!    CONGRATS, btw, in case I haven't said it enough ;)

that is our thought about the pets...that's why our house is crawling with cats, too... but SO said we'd never get a dog, too much for him, but all of a sudden, we had a GS puppy and now he's pushing for another one, it's so funny how dogs change people!

and thanks so much for the congrats, I'm sure you'll do great wherever you end up and I've been watching and cheering for you over here! (and your W&M insights have been super helpful, so thanks so much for that!)

I am glad to help!  It's great to be able to return the favor to everyone else who has been so insightful.  I should be visiting Lexington again soon if you want any more info. on that (and have friends who went to UG who could really help out).  Always pm me if you think of anything about WBurg or W&M. ;)

I definitely want to gather info about lex and wburg, they are exactly the kind of schools I'd like to go to... and W&M might actually win out (if they please, please, please let me in!!)... so, yes def. if you learn anything interesting about lex, let me know. I've been once and it was nice, I am a total country girl, tho, but am hoping I can drag my human/animal "family" with me and just think wburg makes that a little easier.

Well, I need to find housing so anyone who hasn't responded by March 15 will be withdrawled from. Especially since I am trying to find a place that will allow me to keep dogs and weasels(ferrets)

[quote/]more I think about it the more I think that no news is good news.  At least they are CONSIDERING my app, rather than throwing it in the auto-reject pile. ... or so I'd like to think...[/quote]

I came to this conclusion tonight. Hopefully we are right, cuz I am waiting on a big bunch of apps (UVA, PENN, Chicago, GULC etc.)
