So did you guys register for the on-campus housing lottery?  Affirmative decisions get emailed at 5pm on Friday!!!   :o  (fingers crossed)

What do you think the odds are of actually winning a spot?  There are 40 housing units allocated for incoming students (about 400).  Of the 400, how many do you think actually applied (or intend on reserving a spot if selected)?  300?  200?

I asked housing this question and they just gave me the old "it varies from year to year".  But, oh how much I would love to reside in the Village for three years...

By the way, Sara, did you decide on FSU or Miami yet?

How can they say it varies from year to year when this year will be the first one that they'll have graduate housing?  University Village isn't even finished yet...

:D  Maybe it was more like "it depends on how many people apply".  Whatever.  Same bureaucratic nonsense.

They're still gonna have to put people up in the Holiday Inn like they do every year.

U think they do this for law school students too?  I feel like for grads it'll be more of a "you're on your own" policy.

I applied for housing too. I wouldn't mind winning the lottery, but if not, oh well. The units are kind of expensive anyway.
