Well, seeing that the main reason why the EC was originally established was so the "educated" vote would carry more weight, I say nay.

i must admit, election night is really exciting with the electoral college-- all those states turning blue or red.

actually, it counts the least (unless a state is right below the margin for getting another seat and i'm forgetting it). wyoming's voters have the most powerful votes.

i like it or dislike it depending on how it favors my candidate. since the majority of small population states receiving the advantage are red states, i'm against it. though i reserve the right to change my mind if my candidate would win via EC and not popular vote.
