What differentiates him from Keith Van Horn or Wally Sczerbiak? Both were excellent in college.

I do am not too sure. There are tons of players that were awesome in the NCAA but do not perform up to their hype in the NBA. I still think Dirk is the second coming of Bird. The man needs time to develop more.

It seems like every year there is the next Larry Bird.  But I have to admit, Morrison is really good.  I've seen him play a lot.  The next Bird?  Hmmm.

Yeah, he says he couldn't grow facial hair a few years ago so this is his way of celebrating his ability to grow facial hair. I take it that's all he can grow?

But, to give him credit, it does add to all the buzz and seems to make him stick out more--so it's working.
