Question about Application Deadlines
« on: January 25, 2006, 12:38:21 AM »
I know that you can apply after the deadlines, but it is much harder to get in.  But I was wondering, it said that you had to get all your materials in by the deadline, and I applied to one school earlier this month, and they still haven't requested my LSDAS report.  So if they wait until after the deadline to request my report, would my app be considered to have been sent in after the deadline?

As long as everything on your end is before the deadline, yes.

Some schools also seem to count as before the deadline if you have practically everything on your end in (but maybe missing a deadn's cert or something).

Just keep in mind that many schools plan to ahve all decisions sent my a certain date, so for those the later you send in, the less time you're giving adcomms to review your app.
