it's a slab of granite, an homage of sorts to my alma mater.

I thought so...wasn't sure, but that's how it looked to me. an homage to your alma mater? what, UNH? the granite state?

dartmouth college.  the granite is referred to in the actual alma mater.  i found this picture and i thought it looked kind of cool so it's what i've been using.

too bad columbia didn't like it enough to offer me serious money, though i'm sure they also took numbers into account.

oh ok, sweet school.
