Am I considered a minority?

I was adopted.... I am of "unknown" ethnicity.  Am I grouped as a minority?  Does this improve my chances of acceptance?

Well...even if you are adopted...if you are African American...Asian...(darker) Latino...then you should be able to tell...right?

Ethnicity comes to play in applications because many minorities grew up disadvantaged, for example they are the first to complete college, they lived in a very economically depressed area, etc. I think those are the reasons that law schools might give advantages.

No, it probably won't. But you can make a good personal statement out of that.

Have you looked for your parents or have any medical records that would indicate?  Not as much for URM, just for knowing!
