re: BC vs. BU

They have about the same reputation, GPA, and LSAT.

However, look at these numbers:

Employed at graduation:
BC: 71.6%
BU: 89.3%

Student/Faculty ratio:
BC: 14.1
BU: 12.9

BC does have a lower acceptance rate though (16.6% versus 21.6%)

Maybe you are right. Minnasota is one of those strange schools (like Iowa as well) that is always in the top 25, but seems like it is out of place there.

While BC is way prettier, BU I think keeps on top with its way higher job placement nad lower student faculty ratio.  I mean, campus is nice, but really not up there on the list of what makes a ls great (like attractiveness of the study body).

I don't expect BC to pass BU anytime soon, esp. considering BC refuses to do formal concentration, while BU continues to place at the top in field such as IP.

I could see W&M staying put for now, but going up next year after the brand new library is complete.

I can't see how it could move up from 24.  If I had to guess, I'd say that WUSTL moves past it, and maybe even Illinois.

why?  it is such a national university

i think ND's rep has gone up. wustl will improve, but maybe not this year. i don't see illinois scooting up much higher.
