Good Chart to Start Off With When Applying to Law Schools

I just came across this chart on the BYU website. Looks like it is a good starting off point for applying to schools based on LSAT/GPA numbers.

According to this chart, there's no schools I can apply to with a 162 and 3.2?  That's not right really at all.

That's school based.  BC doesn one too.  My undergrad does one as well, but only offers the info. to students, I recommend that you check with your career center.

The chart is weak. I am supposedly three boxes below a school that gave me a 75% scholarship. There are no schools even listed where my GPA falls.

This chart blows.  :P

how do you put everyone with a 166+ and above into one category? That is so misleading!

This is just to make BYU look good.

That chart is referring to the school's 75%, not the median.  I like how they conveniently throw BYU into the top block.

On a related note, it's a wonderful feeling, being accepted to your top choice school and subsequently looking at charts and odds calculators which suggest you have little chance of getting into the school you're going to be attending.
