Rejected today as well.  Slightly under 3.6 (ivy)/173

Oh well, was expecting a deferral at best.  Now I just need to hear from Chicago and I can be done with this cycle.

What date were you complete?

Could be.  Looking at LSN, I'm actually kind of surprised that I was rejected, not deferred.  Who knows though, the whole thing seems like a crapshoot.

Yeah, their rejection vs. deferral choices have been very confusing to say the least. It's all that transparency making things so clear ... wait, no, that's not it.

*sigh*  yes, yes it does.  maybe a falcon swooped into the HLS admissions office and stole my application, leaving the adcom unaware that i am a candidate for their school.  those tricky falcons.

Got the ding - wasn't expecting it so soon, but actually kind of thankful to get it over with now.

I'm shocked.  Nearly everyone with similar numbers got a deferral, not an outright rejection.  I wonder if Harvard is not going to be using the hold for borderline applicants now that the admissions cycle is winding down...
Oh well, UVa is a fantastic school and I will probably be seeing you there in September (as soon as I get my Harvard rejection).

Nobody from my school has gotten into Harvard for the past 3 years (I don't think anybody has gotten into any of HYS), so it's not like this is a shock (even though we have like 15000+ students, you'd think ONE would make it in).

I wouldn't read anything into my rejection... I'm just an auto-ding I guess, which sucks - the only way I was hoping to get in was based on my personal life story which involves overcoming some extremely difficult things over the last couple years.  Obviously it didn't work, that and 2 of my 3 recommendations were probably weak.

Got mine in the mail yesterday, letter dated Feb.15. Not a huge surprise or anything, given my numbers.
