personal statement as a movie script

Just two pages of a small scene between and admissions dean and a student. What do you think about that idea for next year?

ive seen that in one of those "personal statements that worked for lawschool" books in barnes n nobles.

The problem with those "essays that worked" books is that they're just the essays of people who got in, not necessarily because they had a good essay, and sometimes in spite of glaringly bad ones.

Almost any admissions dean will tell you--and have stated, repeatedly, in interviews--that they don't like gimmicks.  Those most often cited are writing your PS as a legal brief and writing it as a script.  It should be the content, not the format, of your PS that the adcomm remembers.
