I'm pretty bummed about this whole process. 

I went complete in late January and am still waiting from Yale.  My numbers are on the threshold.  I guess the fact that I wasn't rejected outright is a good sign.  But I read on the HLS blog that they are going to wait and see what kind of acceptances they get on May 1.  Perhaps Yale is going to do the same?  Then, maybe I'll hear sometime in May or June?

Has anyone heard if they are really going to try to be finished this week?

Well, don't take this the wrong way - but congrats on knowing one way or the other.

I applied last year (2004-2005), went complete on 12/17, and didn't hear anything until a rejection email on April 22, which I've pasted below. My girlfriend is applying this year -- she went complete on 12/27 and still hasn't heard anything.

ugh, an unprompted email yls decision-titled email would give me a heart attack (of joy) and then i would probably die of disappointment after reading the body of the email.

thanks for the copy of the email.  now i have to check the regular mail and my email!

but at least that shows that they were aware of the deadlines in the last cycle.  perhaps, we'll hear before the end of the month....
