so, i was reading on a dif thread how bad it can be to be VERY overwieght

and im prob carrying about 20 more than i want, but not too too bad.

for those of you carrying even more, and want to lose wieght, what prevents you from doing so?

for me, im just so drained from work at the end of the day, i just want to go home and crash.

and im the worlds pickeist eater....

What prevents me from losing weight appears to be some combination of hormones and other biological factors.  I eat very well (WW on and off since 15, and I don't eat red meat or most dairy), and I am active (work out 4X/week, walk most places, etc.).  I don't think I am fat because I am lazy or gluttonous, but you'd probably jump to that conclusion if you saw me.

*%&$^%$(*& lesbian!!!  >:(

tried hormone therapy?

So I hopped on a scale and realized this week that the "10 extra pounds" has become 15 or 20.  Still looks okay, so I can't figure whether it's time to think of it as "5 or 10 extra" and change my baseline, or to work off the whole mess.

Work it off before you start to settle.

If you start to settle, you've already lost the war.  You may still win a battle or two, but essentially, it's all downhill from here.  Your metabolism will just keep slowing down and the weight (and cellulite) will slowly cake itself to your thighs and ass (and, eventually, to your triceps and chin).
