I would recommend 3 days a week for weights. Any classes you do will be helpful, but there are only so many hours in the day, so devote your energies to the most productive exercises. You'll see results if you work hard. Just be patient.

Nah, she won't kill you.  It can easily be read as: "I'm trying to determine (reciprocally) whether you're secretly my girlfriend.  She's cute, though, so if you aren't....you couldn't be she."  Remember: as a future law student, language is your playground.

And the answer is yes, sometimes.    :P

315? Yeah, me too.. Once I did a set of three of it. I usually do 250*10, 285*5 and 300*1-3.

Hello again thread!  I missed yall!

I have been doig very well (yay me) in keeping up with my excersices.  I just need to modify my eating schedule to snack throughout the day as opposed to eating one meal as I've been doing lately, I think it will be a lot easier once I get back to school and will be spending most of the day int he library with low fat cheese sticks and the like.

I've been doing 7 days on and two off (or thereabouts, sometimes 5 days on and one off- it worked out to be 7 on and 2 off this week because of the red sox spring training schedule and all the travel time that took up ;)).  I want to lose about 30 lbs as well, hopefully by the end of june (I've been working since the end of jan).

taking it way back:  cosigned on the current MJ troll (and on everyone's need to appreciate MJ).  :P to stan.  with the release of the first spider-man 3 poster, we need to get on that campaign. ;)

My pants ripped today. That is all.

My jeans ripped when I was at columbia.  I don't think it was because of weight gain tho.  They're just incredibly shoddy jeans.   >:(  They were my favorites, too.

I'm officially back on the wagon!  (Yesterday my leg hurt, so I didn't run.)

You know, I now go to the gym and tell myself "in three years, you'll be able to afford a personal trainer.  You can start worrying about weights then." :D

 :D I never thought about the personal trainer part. we WILL be able to afford one in three years huh..  ::)

free personal training, that's a good deal.  I used to have a personal trainer (ex Navy Seals).  He got me into the best shape of my life.  'Ohh flat stomach, how do I miss thee'

QUESTION FOR DORIAN:

Is it normal to gain weight first? It seems that I gained weight instead of lost some...after all this exercising!

Will I eventually lose the weight?
