LSD lingo question

pwn3d is a gamer term which simply means "owned".

For example:

omfg i pwn3d ur ass w/ my lightning sword n00b

This means:

"Oh my f-ing god, I owned your ass with my lightning sword, newbie [novice]."

It's pronounced "poh-nd", though.  The "p" remains.

a troll can also be somebody who drops by the board just for self-promotion\advertising...

Julie Fern is a good example of a troll and she never adds anything useful but still posts constantly (though less than she used to).

What is pwn3d though? I have never understood this reference.
