what is "trolling?"  I recently learned pwn3d which is pretty awesome but there are still some terms that baffle me.  Feel free to list any other terms used on this board and their meanings.

A "troll" is someone whose sole purpose of posting is to disrupt and stir up fights.

a troll can also be somebody who drops by the board just for self-promotion\advertising...

Julie Fern is a good example of a troll and she never adds anything useful but still posts constantly (though less than she used to). 

What is pwn3d though? I have never understood this reference.

when I learned what pwn3d is I truly started to learn what dorks we all really are, not to say that's a bad thing but this one is a little over to top.  Supposedly back in the day on "War Craft" computer game, when someone got their asses kicked it was supposed to say "cassise was owned by moonchigger" but accidently programed in owned as pwned.  Then the computer "nerds" of later year substituted the "e" with a "3" and so you get pwn3d.  And there you have it, at least from what I've heard.
