If I slit my wrists---> don't have to do grouping games
« on: January 05, 2006, 07:18:24 PM »
I've been studying this crap for too long.  easily 8 months.  I can't get any of these games done in time.  Some of them i can't get done at all.  Are there any people out there who can help.  Please not you 178 freaks.  There's clearly something wrong with you people.  While I respect your test taking abilities, I have yet to run into one of you that is good at explaining things.

IE.  The game where they're either playing golf or tennis, which is combo grouping/sequencing.  I've already blown this test once.  Luckily I live in San Francisco, where we have a lovely bridge......

Whoa, easy on the high scoring "freaks"...not that I am one of them (hopefully i will be when I take the test in Feb)

What have you been using to prepare for games so far? what books?

1. took a Kaplan course.

2. repeated Kaplan course.  (was a mistake both times) --it's taken months to unlearn the outdated "tricks" they taught me.

3. Nova book. --Some good stuff.

4 Several practice tests.  low 149
                           high 162

score last June-- 149. where was that bridge???

5. Currently enrolled in Testmaster.  (why didn't I do that sooner)

nothing seems to help me with these godforsaken problems.  As you can tell, I really want to be a lawyer. but i don't think desire is helping much here.

Kaplan I believe is what messed you up...hopefully Testmaster can reprogram your lsat thinking strategy.....goodluck....I really sucked at games when I started...don't know why....suppose to come natural since I majored in Mathematics and Comp Science ..but I sucked at games for awhile...got real frustrated...registered for a prep course www.testwell.com (Best in the industry, unfortunately only available in Boston)...then I started acing the games. Hopefully Testmaster will deliver you

When I saw this post, I immediately looked for the contrapositive:
Have to do grouping games ----> did not slit wrists

I think I've been spending too much time with LSAT prep.
