I'm jealous of all you people moving in early and taking your time getting settled.  :'(

I'm taking the bus, yep.  I hope it isn't terrible, but I'm right on Mass Ave, so the bus stops in front of my apartment.

I'd be excited if they were free.

Yes, it would be much nicer if they were free. And if every highlighter came with a beer. :)

Just got off the phone with the cable company I'm going with (RCN).  There's a deal for full basic, internet, and land line (local) for 82.99, first month free.  It's pretty good stuff.

If anyone is planning to go with RCN, please PM me. I get hooked up with a referral bonus if you give them my name (and call the right number).

So is there a consensus about which Stafford lender gives us the best deal? MEFA?

Er...I also got charged for Story despite being assigned to North. Did this happen to anyone else?

hmm.. i misread the mefa benefits so sancho is right it does seem like a good deal but i couldn't find specific info on their site (it probably is there somewhere?) on how they deal with payments that are late.. like can you still get the discounted interest rate if you pay on time X number of times after that or whatnot. hopefully that wont ever have to happen but some lenders had pretty lenient policies, i can't find MEFA's.

MEFA looked the best to me for sure.  They give you the incentives as you earn them, and you don't lose them for late payments after they kick in.
