i file every year by telephone, i dont think i get a copy of any 1040s, what do i do? is anyone else in a similar situation who knows?

am i right in thinking then that you dont get a 1040 copy or anything, i didnt know if i just misplaced it or something, what do you do just the irs for a cpoy? do you know if these things the irs calls transcripts are acceptable for this stuff?

You're going to use your 2005 numbers to fill out the FAFSA. You shouldn't need to get pre-2005 taxes unless the school specifically wants them.
