transfer question

transfer question

So.. I got into Drexel with a scholarship but Drexel isn't accredited yet and I'd be in their first year class... so my question is, can I transfer from an unaccredited school to an accredited one??  Does anyone know how that works or has anyone ever done that??

I know this is not much help, but you should probably call around to adcoms of accredited schools and ask.

Here is CLS's policy. I can't imagine other schools are drastically different.

Applicants for transfer admission must have attended law schools that are either members of the American Association of Law Schools (AALS) or approved by the section on Legal Education of the American Bar Association.

The amount of credit given for completed course work depends on the standards of the law school from which the student is transferring and the quality of the candidate's performance in those courses. No credit is given for work completed in an American law school that is not a member of the Association of American Law Schools.
