The Federalist Papers are cool - you're reading them for fun correct?

I'm reading them because I want to (not in school now) but I wouldn't call it fun  ;)

I started Waiting for the Barbarians by Coetzee this morning.  I'm only halfway through, but I'm already loving it.

I read Richard Hofstadter's "Anti-Intellecualism in American Life" not long ago just for kicks. Hofstadter is not my type politically, but still much of what he has to say is compelling. Hard to believe that our parents generation, he would consider growing up in an anti-intellectual country.
