Does Villanova average LSAT Scores?
« on: December 28, 2005, 10:35:29 AM »
Does anyone know if Villanova averages LSAT scores, or if it takes the highest score?  Someone posted that they take the highest score but it does not indicate it on their website.

I've been under the impression that they take the higher score, but can't verify it either.

I emailed admissions and they said they take the higher score.

In that case, I've got a 3.2, 162 there.  Should be a good situation :)

Yeah instead of my 3.44/155 average, it's now 3.44/159 for me there, which should give me a decent shot.

So we're either getting beers in Pittsburgh or the Main Line next September.

instead of 3.2 156, im a 3.2 160.  things are looking a little brighter.  can you guys think of any schools besides pitt and villanova that have the same policy?

here is a list compilied by deloggio. http://www.deloggio.com/academic/twolsat.htm
I would assume it is accurate, although it is possible some schools policy's have changed since then.

There's lots of schools that take the higher.

Forham if 10 points or more; Brooklyn if 7 points or more, Northwestern, Cornell, Penn, Georgetown, Columbia if 8 points or more.  UNC, Pitt, Villanova.  Those are probably the most notable schools on the list that do this.  So that's a quality list of schools, which gives hope to people who can improve, especially people who can improve significantly.
