A Financial Aid List ('Cause I'm Bored) - Add to it!

I am going to get my W-2 from last year this evening, just a few days before the 2/1 deadlines.  So, for example, does this mean that I cannot apply for financial aid from a school like Michigan unless I manage to complete my tax return overnight?  Sorry to ask what may seem like a stupid question, but the time period between receipt of necessary tax information (end of January for some) and the deadline for applying for financial aid for some schools seems extremely small - am I missing something?

You can file the FAFSA with estimates of all the numbers you need.  After you file your taxes, you can go back to submit corrections and update the information.  The corrections can be filed at any time after most schools' deadlines.

for those schools that accept need acess and fafsa, do we need to file both, or can we just file one or the other?  (I'm trying to do everything through one source if I can).

Sorry - To clarify - does this mean that Michigan did not give a deadline, or that you saw somewhere something due today (sorry to be obtuse, just checking here.)

No, there is not a financial aid deadline for first-year law students; you can apply right up to the start of the school year, if you wish. Of course, the sooner we have your completed application, the sooner we can issue your award letter. Our continuing students, however, have a firm financial aid application deadline in April of each year.

(I sent in my FinAid docs to Emory, as they had a 2/1 deadline, but I thought all others were 2/15 or later.  I just got my w2s and have a really busy day at work ahead of me.)

Do I need to do this today, I guess is the question...

I couldn't find a deadline for Michigan.

And would you believe that I started this thread how many weeks ago and I still, myself, have only managed to getting around to doing the FAFSA?  I guess part of me is unhappy about having to pay to apply for aid (it's only $15 per school, but it's still annoying).

Does BU require the Need Access? I couldn't find it just now when I was selecting schools to add on needaccess.org.
