3.4/161 - I am being realistic? help!
« on: December 25, 2005, 11:18:19 PM »
How does this list look for someone with a 3.4 UGPA and 161 LSAT? I'm a few years out of college and will have a masters in social work in May - I'd like to go into public interest.

New York Law School
St. John's
Brooklyn
Cardozo PT
Fordham PT
Suffolk
Northeastern
American

Do I need more safeties?

Thank you!!!

You should be in at NYLS and Suffolk for sure.  You'll probably also get into Brooklyn and St. John's.

You are aware that NYLS is something like $37,500.00 a year in tuition alone and, being on Wall Street now, officially in the nation's most expensive neighborhood, right?  Just a thought if that's the school you plan to go to should all else fail.

Thanks for the input. I already live on the upper west side so I would probably just stay where I am and take the subway.
