I'm wondering the exact same thing. At this point, I am planning on sending an addendum telling them just what you said (but to another school). I don't know if that will be enough? I think this will really help us because I don't think many people go through the trouble of letting them know that they will go no matter what, especially if it is a Tier 2 school.

I would've done ED to my school if 1) they had an ED and 2) I had taken my LSAT earlier.

I don't think sending in an addendum would hurt, as long as it didn't come off as desperate.  Just let them know that they're your number 1 choice.  I think that would be appreciated.

Just a thought:

"Thank you so much your taking the time to show me around the school and answer my questions.  You were very attentive and confirmed what I already knew, that X is my first choice school.  With your help I have been able to decide that X is the place for me, and if I am accepted I will (insert favorite word for with out a doubt) be attending your school next fall.  I hope to see you again.

Is it just me or does an addendum like this look really good? I don't think many people bother sending a letter like this to a T2 school. Maybe the adcomms will take it seriously and trust our word.

That would seem like an excellent addendum.  I think it's smart by somewhat disguising it in the form of a thank you letter.

Yeah, I think you can either send a letter or fax it over to the admissions office. Someone will probably put it on top of your current file.
