I am going to die! I have been between 156-163 since June on all of my pratice test and today I get my score and it's 139. I don't know what to do at all. I've already dished out a whole lot of $$$$$ for applications. I am thinking about taking another prepcorse and re-taking in February but even then will it be to late for the schools that I have applied to? Alao, I would have to score a 165 just to get a 151 average. My life as you know it is OVER! Any suggestions?

That is a huge drop.  Go through the test and make sure you didnt make mistakes bubbling.  If you did, you can always ask LSAC to hand score the test.

There probably is some big mistake, like misbubbling.

And, if not, I hear most schools, although they average the two scores, tend to look at the higher score as a more reliable indicator of your ability if the jump is significant (6-10+ points). Don't give up, Coreysmommy!

look at your scanned answer sheet.  there is NO way you made that big of a drop unless you really freaked out during the test.  Did you skip a section b/c u thought it was experimental?

a 139 --> 163 indicates that something was VERY wrong during the first test.  i seriously doubt that any school will average them.

I'm no thief. I once suggested to a friend we start a heavy metal band called phlacyd. He wasn't into the name, and suggested Sofa King instead (which came, I believe from the same source as the origin of your name - some read aloud game with "sofa king wee todd did" in it).
