I called yesterday on my way home from work.  I was told that a decision had not yet been rendered on my application but that a decision on the majority of applications would be sent before the month is over.  When I asked about the efficacy of sending a letter of continued interested I was told that it was not advisable at this point.  So I guess I'm back where I was before I called.  I suspected I would receive a decision before the end of the month anyway, after all my application was submitted by december 1st.  More waiting I guess...

It looks like most of the rejections so far came to students with numbers slightly below their 25th%tile.  I would take it as a good sign that you're still in the running.

They told you a decision would be rendered by the end of april?  ...or March?

In the middle of March, they said "The admissions committee anticipates rendering all final decisions by the end of this month."
