If I were in your shoes I wouldn't care one bit. You're in at Penn, GULC, and Michigan... good job and congrats. :)

Thanks for the congrats. If it weren't my alma mater, and I didn't want to live in Boston to be close to family for the next two years, I probably wouldn't care. It's probably annoying for me to care, in any case. This whole process is so damn irrational! It's bringing me along for the ride!

:D  Good luck with your other apps. I'm rooting for you!

I think I got my first ding from BC, too. I can't help feeling this is a bad sign that the rest of my schools are hopeless (except maybe UIUC) :'(

I wish they sent it to my current address. It's kind of embarrassing. My mom got the letter. I'm not entirely sure if it's a ding or a deferral. She sent me an email and I guess she was worried about making me feel bad because she didn't explain what was in it. (Just that she didn't like Boston anyway - I love my mom. :)) I'll have to call her when it's daytime and find out.

Yeah, I was hoping for a deferral at BC, not a rejection. Now that they've given me a big FU, I'm feeling less optimistic about my ND and Fordham deferrals. I'm starting to really believe that the acceptances I've recieved thus far will be it for me. Pessimism???... or realism??? you be the judge. :-\

BTW, why can't I make one post without using a smiley? :D

my first rejection didn't feel so good either..... whatever, i'm not too bent about it (at least that's what I tell myself as I cry myself to sleep)  ;)
