thanks! I really didn't expect anything good... my boss went there and doesn't believe there are any other schools worth considering, which is the only reason I applied, and did so very late, I would pick uva over it anyway.

now maybe the boss will at least stop harassing me at work with side comments about how nyu is the only place on the planet for law school..so something good definitely came out of it!

I was pretty sure I had almost zero chance of acceptance at NYU, so my rejection letter wasn't a surprise when it came in the mail today...but it was my first ding, so I'm a little bummed.

At least I got my packet from GW today too!  Helped to cushion the blow.   :)

I sent my app in 12/1 and didn't send any additional stuff in so complete sometime after that...I don't really keep track of those sorts of things, which seems to make me a minority on this board. ;)

my letter was dated 2/4 and i just got it on friday!!!

they sent it to my old address, it was returned to sender, then they sent it to my permanent address
