Yeah, but there are worse things that could happen, of course.

you have no sense of empathy for the sacrifices that are made in war.  people are dying, whole families are changed forever, and you have done absolutely squat for this country

I never said that I don't empathize with the families experiencing the loss of loved ones. I was just stating that in war people do die. It is inevitable.
How do you know what I am doing for this country? you know nothing about me and have no authority to state that at all.
You dont say it, but you intimate it through your callous comments.  People die in war, there is no question about that, but you could at least sound a tad somber about being a proponent for the unnecessary war in which they are dying.

but then they can't enjoy their war porn as much!

i bet imvinny gets off to the video of those contractors shooting civilians. probably thinks it's really hot, even though it makes it even more dangerous for our troops. which they'll support because then we have to stay longer to "honor their sacrifice"- meaning more masturbatory fantasies for the bastard.

I mean, its like this conversatino

Vinny: What's wrong?
Scott: My mother/father/brother/sister died.
Vinny: Well, dying is inevitable.  You should have seen it coming.
Scott: Thanks a-hole.

And it is much worse than that because these people are dying in the prime of their lives and FOR NO SUFFICIENTLY GOOD REASON.

but to them it IS for a good reason!

they were getting nukes and had WMDs and were in cahoots with al quaeda!
...
oh! we had to rescue the Iraqi people from saddam and give them democracy!
...
oh oh! we have to fight the terrorists there rather than here!
...
oh oh oh! we can't leave because it'd ruin the sacrifice of our troops already made and make us look weak!
...

f-ing stupid.

Dying is a natural part of life, some die before others. It is obvious. My father died and you don't see me sitting around crying about it anymore. I did when it happened, and I am over it. I knew he was about to die and I braced myself for it.
The families of these soldiers should as well.'
One of my friends in ROTC told me that she knows that she very well will be sent to war and might die. She said people realize the sacrifice they are being asked to make, and your mother or father cannot, and should not stop you from making your own decisions in life.

hussein never threatened security of the region?
hussein's heirs were not an active threat to the above?

Clinton didnt invade and occupy Iraq.  It is one thing to call for regime change and another to unilatterally effect that change.

What does the happines of the Iraqis have to do with US soldiers?  THEY DONT EVEN APPRECIATE US; HALF OF THEM SUPPORT THE BOMBINGS AGAINST US.

get a clue
