I'm still in undergrad. I'll graduate in May. I'm a little old to be an UG, but I took some time off.
How about you?

Hey no worries...maturity is a good thing when you are looking at attending law school.  Have you ever been to an open house/information session at UH?

I took time off as well and graduated at 25.  Now I work for City Council.

Yeah, good luck everyone.

I'm keeping an eye out, since I'm applying next cycle and UH is my top choice. Hopefully they won't hold my bombing in a PhD program there right after UG against me!

Aggie: nope, not yet. I meant to go this semester, but instead I took what little free time I had to go visit my uber-reach, Michigan. I am still planning on going down to Houston to visit next semester, though. Have you been?

TPN: that sounds interesting! Are you still in Houston?

Yes, I have been to an informational session and to their open house.  I was impressed with the school, but its not the best looking place in the world.

Michigan is on my list as well, but I have vowed NOT to go visit until I get a decision from them

Michigan was AWESOME to visit. They were so enthusiastic to have me. I got an invitation to apply, and that's why I went. My brother went there for UG, my dad taught there, and my grandparents got their PhD's there, so it's kind of a tradition in my family.

TBH, I'd rather go to UColorado than UHouston, plus I'm already accepted there, but there's some stuff that may keep me in Texas. UHouston is my top choice in TX (save for UT, of course! - but that's kind of a reach).

rofl. Please, if I had that power, I'd have them admit me first! :P

But you'd be next on my list. ;) Since you asked and all.

Yea, still in Houston.  Looking outward though.  Would love to go to Mich, but no chance.  I applied in Oct. and still no response (Must be a rejection)
