If you're in college you can get a college checking account at Wells Fargo or Bank of America. They'll approve a credit card for almost anybody.

Haha! Actually, I think they do want you to always pay your bill on time, so they don't have to get all pissed and pay to send collection agencies after you.

The key, I think, is that they want you to always pay on time, but only make the minimum payment. That way, they not only know that you are still on the other end of the line, giving them a steady stream of money, but also they can whack you with 20% APR and literally keep you in debt to them forever.

If anyone likes that sort of thing, I could hook you up with a really nice tenant farming job at my new sharecropping plantation
