I was always known as the grad student with the unique perspective during my stint in grad school because I had a semester on exchange during UG where every bit of my political science coursework was taught from an anthropological perspective -- we had anthropologists teaching the class. I was sold; it's very cool.
I figure that will certainly help with dealing with people in LS, that whole group mentality thing. Plus, I always described my UG as an overgrown high school. It was, after all, half the size of the HS I went to.
