should the P.S. be double-spaced?

Hey, I am just wondering if the P. S. should be double-spaced. I know that you can take the risk of doing single space, but nobody wants the admission officers pissed off at you, right? Or does this depend on whether they specifically want you to do it in double space?

Look at each app. Some want it double spaced, some want it 1.5 space, some don't specify.

i wouldn't go less than 1.5 if nothing is specified. think about how much it sucks to read single spaced and think of the adcom people reading dozens of them a day...

you can always mess with margins if there's a firm page limit. my brother (a college professor) accosted me for doing that when i wrote mine, but two of the schools at which i fudged margins to keep under page limits gave me scholarships, so it couldn't have hurt me too much!
