Good for you, and that's great to hear.  I was wondering if I was crazy to hope for some money out of Suffolk or New England with my ridiculous GPA and all.  You've given me hope!

Do schools offer you money at the same time that they give you acceptance? It would make senese esp. if it were a lesser ranked school, to help you make your decisions. Anyone know?

Some do and some do not.  Like much else, it seems to depend on the school.

Q just sent me info. on various merit scholarships and how to apply, even though I haven't gotten an acceptance or denial yet.

Congrats on Suffolk upNdown!  Maybe they're not becoming total numbers whores afterall.

For which school?  Some of themofer it and others don't.  It usually is on their website.

If you really want to know about a particular school, take a look at their acceptances for last cycle on LSN.  Many LSNers update their profiles frequently to include offers of money from schools.  I did this for suffolk and found that most money offers came in march and all of them seemed to come well after the actual acceptances.

That's harsh, but at least you are still in the running at all of those schools in and around PA. Keep your chin up, and don't let it discourage you.  The reality is that most of us who poat on this thread are going to be receiving rejection notices before we recieve any acceptance letters.  Good Luck!

My mom called me and said that I was dinged at University of Toledo, they sent it through snail mail to my permanent address...

2 in one day you think they could all talk it over and spread them out abit.  I'm just glad neither of these are anywhere near my top choices.  Good luck everybody
