In off the waitlist at Chapman Law!!! :)

Congrats Skeptic! Maybe I'll see you there!

Hey Thanks Pinky!  I am still curious to know whether the letter received from Loyola was sent to everyone or a select group.  I have a friend who is also on the waitlist at loyola and didnt receive it.  She lives nearby to me.

I'm hoping that it was a select group. Mugato (who lives in LA) said he hadn't received it.

Hey, LL! Good news! I got on the waitlist at Widener! I know it's not much, but it's nice to know that I was considered seriously at other than a single law school... :P

Well, i havent been on this thread in quite some time, but I know a few of you are interested in U Richmond, so i have this peice of news for you:  they are currently taking students off their waitlists.  I was informed of this via email, with a message saying i'll be contacted within the next day or two.  Since i've already decided to work for a year and defer, I declined the offer (or possible offer).  Just an FYI

did you let them know this?  have you called or visited the campus?  try to let them know that you WILL attend if admitted.

I did, but they told me that their decision was entirely arbitrary based upon how many accepted applicants gave up their spots and who got reviewed first off the waitlist... They were actually kind of curt with me when I asked my chances and tried to share my situation, but I suppose that's understandable...
