Graduating in Summer 07, apply in Fall 06?
« on: November 28, 2005, 05:54:35 PM »
Hey everyone I have a question.  I'm scheduled to graduate in the summer term of fall 07 (august).  I am planning on applying this next fall (2006) to law schools.  Is this a good idea?  I really don't want to take a year off while I'm "on a roll."  I appreciate your advice.

It may be stressful to have no break in between.

Ya thats what I was thinking but that last semester will be pretty easy plus I'm used to going from fall to spring to summer so it shouldn't be too bad.  But then again there will only be a three week break.

Do you think it will hurt my chances for admission because ill have less credits completed at the time I apply for law school?

I dont think it will have any bearing on admissions. Others may disagree though. My main concern would be if a problem arose during summer that made graduation difficult or impossible.
