my insane mother accidentally threw away my cornell fee waiver...

so, because i'm bored and cornell sent me a fee waiver, i was going to apply there...BUT MY FEE WAIVER SLIP WENT OUT IN LAST WEEK'S TRASH! and it's not automatically done through lsac...

soooooo should i just suck it up and pay the $70 fee? or can i contact the admissions office in some way that does not make me sound like absolute idiot (if that is possible)?

has this happened to anyone else?

im sure it wouldnt be a big deal at all to ask the school to mail/fax you another fee waiver, just tell them that it was accidentally destroyed, i dont htink they will be mad or think youre an idiot or anything

Yeah, they should def. be willing to send you another one.  And BTW, that's sooo something my mother would do.  Sucks not being able to check your own mail, but I think you'll be fine.

my mom keeps getting stuff from schools she's never heard of, so i think cornell ended up in the wrong pile!

call.  i did this for Penn. no biggie.  the woman on the phone just told me to send an email that they would attach to my file.

I think half the mothers in the world are neat freaks. My mom constantly threw out anything I left laying around (my fault I guess). It used to drive me nuts, now I throw out as much as I think I can get away with.
