PS Titles and Formality

What do people title their PS's?

Mine's all about why it took me 7 years to apply to law school, so I just gave it a title in accordance with that. Bad idea? Good idea?

Also, I had a friend read it and they loved it but felt it was a bit too "conversational."

Any thoughts on the extent(s) of formality that one should use?

I just titled it "Personal Statement."  I think many here do the same.

As for formality, I think either formal or conversational can work.  As long as it is consistent throughout the piece and with your theme as a whole, go with it.

Yeah conversational can be fine, just make sure it's grammatically correct.  Many schools state that the PS is their only chance to interview you, so the conversational tone can help a lot in making you feel like a real, enjoyable person.

My personal statements always have more personal or detailed titles.
